Easy Breezy Nut Milk

~ vegan, sugar-free, wheat-free ~

1c nuts (soaked 1-6 hours, discard soaking water)
2c water ( distilled or purified)
Blender

Put the ingredients in a blender and whirrrrrl baby whirrrl! If you are using almonds or brazil nuts I would strain off the pulp. If this is to much drama.....use cashews, macadamia nuts or pecans.

You can drink your milk as is or jazz it up. If you do want to jazz things up add these "mix-ins" after straining off the pulp. Blend for a moment and enjoy!

Add these flavors to taste (remember we're being jazzy not uptight).

Almonds ~ a few cacao nibs + 2 fresh mint leaves
Macadamia Nuts ~ fresh coconut water when blending + ripe pineapple
Brazil Nuts ~ pinch of ground star anise + beans from 1/2 of a vanilla bean
Cashews ~ frozen banana
Pecans ~ maple syrup + cinnamon
