It has been said that movement increases wellness. My passion for music and dance was passed down to me from my father. And to him from his mother, my grandmother, who I remember being my first dance teacher. She'd put on a song, I'd stand on her feet and and hold on as she swayed to the music. She always looked so happy (and pain free) in those moments. :) Years later my father taught me how to really dance! When we went to carnival he'd encourage me to feel the music. To let my heart & soul take over. At parties we would often be the first one's on the dance floor and last one's off, which is still true today. Since then I have learned that there are many ways to dance. More than just styles of dancing .... life itself is a dance!
As I celebrate my passionate self, I commit to moving my body everyday. I broadly define movement as anything that increases aliveness in oneself and in those around us.

This song is ardently dedicated to Mémére, daddy
and to you dear reader...
