New York, New York!

This weekend I attended the opening weekend of the 2010 class at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City.  1,000 students interested in holistic wellness!!  This weekend among the guest speakers were Marion Nestle (author of What To Eat and Food Politics) and Dr. Bernie Seigle & Dr. Walter Willet.  From the raw science of supplements to the politics and government roles in creating the food pyramid & approval policies for labeling to inspirational anecdotes about people with terminal diseases and healing through food and emotional wellness.   AWESOME!

I also took time to walk the city, ride the ferry & visit Central Park.  I met many interesting people that I look forward to getting to know.  I attended the first weekend last year then pulled out to focus on launching Inspired Ice Cream.  It was very good to make it back for the LAST LIVE class IIN plans on conducting.  As I sat in the auditorium I felt joy pulse in my body.  Imagine laughing, learning, clapping, stretching & connecting with people from all around the world with similar interests....Mmmm...I can't wait till weekend 2!
