Yesterday, when a friend offered to gift me with a ticket to a baseball game I felt "overgifted." I realized I felt "guilty" for receiving more than I felt like I was giving. As if there was some kind of checks & balances system I was failing....crazy-talk! This is ironic since I feel like I do give a lot yet still have trouble receiving. Soooo, I have decided to take her toss to rejoin the 29 gifts movement. I learned a lot about receiving through giving when I did it last time. so here we gooooo......
Day 1 • I gifted insight to a friend about the relationship of our bodies symptoms to our emotional/ mental state. (Why this part hurts when I feel...). I've made her a wellness care package too! This part was extra fun!
In giving this gift I gave myself permission to wonder what my body is saying to me.
I am listening :)
