I just got back from a camping trip in the desert. On a chilly morning I sat by a creekside reading this month's LOVEluck Book Club selection. I decided to make a delicious new twist on the basic cup of camp cocoa.
2 peppercorns
1 cinnamon stick
grated nutmeg
8 oz water
Strain
Split between 2 mugs
8 oz nut cream (try almond or hazlenut)
2 oz cacao powder
Add 4 ounces of spiced water mix to each mug
Stir & enjoy!
