Down Escalator

I found out about David Wolfe's great project that encourages the planting of fruit trees around the world. I was unable to attend their fundraiser & wondered how I could be of service? On my way down to the NYC subway a man was sitting at the bottom of the escalator asking, not for money, but for food. In my sack I had a big, juicy orange. I gave it to him. One fruit, 2 hearts, many hands. Charitable giving can happen anywhere, anytime. I am thankful to know this today.
