In hot pursuit of the almighty dollar, I let fall by the wayside, the nurturing elements of my personality. Today I am embracing my essential mamma. Phoenix, the most skittish of my brood, was sent reeling by the move. She got out sometime yesterday and spent hours away (scaring herself even more no doubt). When I finally found her she was dirty and had lost her breakaway collar. Oh, Phoenix-po-neen-ix. I cuddled her then and am doing the same this morning. I've decided to slowly unpack the house while a big pot of homemade stew cooks. We could all use a bit of welcome home transitional TLC today.
