Falling in Self Love • Day 5

I am an Urban Goddess!

I went to sleep with a bit on my mind.  I woke up with a sense of resolve.  I am choosing compassion for myself and trusting that as a whole I'm in good shape.  I tend to be hypercritical of myself.  I used to say it's what "drives" me to be better.  Haha...better than what I am now wondering?  Its all so silly.  Some of the best moments came when I loved myself immensely and simply walked into a room.  Easy... no doing...just BEing!

I pulled out the last clean outfit in my suitcase...a gorgeous cream summer dress with light gold silk trim & decided to give myself an airport bathroom makeover.  While I was doing this, a Howard Jones song came over the loudspeaker (btw, I love HJ).   Many of the women who came into the bathroom while I was primping my hair, giving myself a facial....looked at me, smiled, then pulled out a little extra sumthin' to beautify themselves.   :)  Just as I was adding the finishing touches a woman leaned in and said, "Don't fuss anymore honey, you ARE gorgeous!"  Thank you!
